INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's soccer team conceded a goal to No. 9 Notre Dame in the 18^th minute of the match and could not find the back of the net through full time, ultimately falling, 1-0. The loss was the first this season for the Bulldogs, who are now 3-1-1. The Fighting Irish (4-1-0), out of the ACC, remain undefeated.

• 18' | Notre Dame's Grace Rastovich carries up the middle of the field toward the goal and veers to the left. She passes back to the right to Izzy Engle, and Engle is able to slide the ball past Butler's keeper. The Fighting Irish take an early, 1-0, lead.
• 36' | A Butler foul in the area leads to a Notre Dame penalty kick. The attempt is saved by a diving Anna Pierce, and a rebound shot sails over the bar.

• 73' | Alana Wood sends a long service up the left side to Leila Lister. She splits two defenders with a pass to Norah Jacomen who rips a shot just inside the near post. The Notre Dame keeper is able to make the save.
