INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's soccer team shut out Marquette on a day in which 13 members of the program were honored during Senior Day recognition. The Bulldogs (5-2-1, 1-0-0 BIG EAST) netted their only goal in the eighth minute, ultimately outshooting the Golden Eagles (3-6-2, 0-1-0 BIG EAST), 17-5, as both teams opened conference competition.
