The Bulldogs closed out the second straight meet at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday at the Crossroads of America Invitational.

Matthew Forrester set a new facility record in the 3,000 meters after winning the event in 8:03.52. This was also the fifth fastest time in the BIG EAST this season.

On the women's side, Renate Toldo finished first in the women's mile. Her mark was a new personal best at 4:51.61

Other top Bulldog performers included:

• Jack McMahon placed sixth in the men's 3,000 meters at 8:06.95
• Joseph Pierro was the first across the line for the Bulldogs in the 200 meters at 22.12
• The quartet of Jocelyn Davis, Jenna Doezema, Abby Brennan, and Allie Minier finished in sixth in the women's 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:48.58

Butler will return to the State Fairgrounds again next weekend for the Midwest Classic beginning on Jan. 31.
