Three Bulldogs were among the four BIG EAST players recognized as conference Golfers of the Week. The BIG EAST made the announcement Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Addi Kooi and
Ashley Freitas of Butler were named BIG EAST Female Golfers of the Week, while Butler's
Logan Sutto shared BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honors with Jace Hulett of Seton Hall.Â

It marks the first BIG EAST weekly honor for each of the Bulldogs.
BIG EAST Female Golfers of the Week
Addi Kooi, Butler, Fr.
Kooi tied for seventh at the Butler Fall Invitational, finishing with a 54-hole total score of 219 (+9). She shot a 3-over 73 to post the best Tuesday score among the Bulldogs.Â
Ashley Freitas, Butler, Jr.
Freitas, who competed as an individual, also posted an aggregate score of 219 (+9) at the Butler Fall Invitational. She carded a pair of 1-over 71's during the first and second rounds of action.
BIG EAST Male Golfers of the Week
Logan Sutto, Butler, So.
Sutto tied a Butler program record with an 8-under 64 during the final round at the 2025 Virtues Intercollegiate. He posted six birdies and an eagle on the day, vaulting him into a tie for second. Behind Sutto's record-setting day, the Bulldogs took the team title with a 9-under 855.

Jace Hulett, Seton Hall, Fr.
Hulett posted a victory in his second collegiate tournament, going 8-under (208) at the Shepherd's Rock Individual.Â
