Butler Men Head Up I-65 for Purdue Fall Invitational

| By:

The Bulldogs look to continue a strong fall at the Purdue Fall Invitational. The tournament in West Lafayette, Ind., begins Monday.

Butler has posted Top-2 finishes in each of their three events this fall, taking team titles at both the season-opening Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate and the Virtues Intercollegiate in their last outing.

Logan Sutto earned BIG EAST Co-Golfer of the Week honors after tying a Butler program record with an 8-under 64 during the final round at the 2025 Virtues Intercollegiate. He posted six birdies and an eagle on the day, vaulting him into a tie for second. Behind Sutto's record-setting day, the Bulldogs took the team title with a 9-under 855.

The five-player Bulldog line-up will consist of Sutto, Derek Tabor, Leo Zurovac, Marius Reiersen, and Jacob Tarkany.

The Bulldogs are joined in the 15-team field by the host Boilermakers, Ball State, Illinois State, Loyola Chicago, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Oakland, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, Toledo, Valparaiso, and Western Kentucky.

Monday's play will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start at the par-72, 7,465-yard Kampen-Cosler Golf Course. The two-day event includes 54 holes with 36 being played Monday followed by a final 18 Tuesday.

Purdue is simultaneously hosting a 36-hole individual tournament at the Boilermakers' Ackerman-Allen Golf Course. Four Bulldogs are part of that field: Will Horne, Luke Kruger, Johnny Creamean, and Ethan Blomme.

Live scoring for both the team and individual tournaments will be available with links posted to ButlerSports.com.
