Bulldogs Travel to Hawaii for Inaugural Pearl at Kalauoa Invitational

| By:

The Bulldogs will finish the fall portion of their 2025-26 schedule this week, making the long flight to the Aloha State.

The inaugural Pearl at Kalauoa Invitational will be played in 'Aiea on the island of O'ahu. The par-72 Pearl at Kalauoa course will be set up at 6,955 yards.

Butler has posted Top-2 finishes in each of their five events this fall, taking team titles at the season-opening Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate, the Virtues Intercollegiate, and the Dayton Fall Invitational in their most recent outing.

Derek Tabor tied for second individually at the Dayton Fall Invitational, finishing at six-under 207. His performance earned the senior BIG EAST Co-Golfer of the Week honors. Logan Sutto and Will Horne also finished in the Top 10 in Dayton, tying for sixth at even par. That trio will be joined in the five-player Bulldog line-up by senior Leo Zurovac and freshman Marius Reiersen. Graduate student Jacob Tarkany will compete as an individual.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament includes 36 holes Wednesday and a final 18 Thursday. Shotgun starts are scheduled both days for 7:30 a.m. (Hawaii time; 1:30 p.m. Eastern).

The Bulldogs are joined in the 18-team field by host Hawai'i, Air Force, Army, Augusta State, Baylor, Belmont, Cal Baptist, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Hawaii Pacific, Nevada, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Utah Tech, UT Martin, UC San Diego, West Virginia, and Wichita State.
