Bulldog Bites
Set 1 Providence (25-19)
The first set was controlled and won by Providence. The Friars were able to jump out to a 4-0 lead and maintained a solid lead throughout the set. Kills from Elise Ward and Ellery Rees were not enough late as the Friars won the set by six.

Set 2 Providence (27-25)
Two straight kills from Rees followed by a kill from Sawyer Jones a few points later helped Butler build an early 10-8 lead in set two. Providence would then go on run to build a six point lead of their own 19-13. The Dawgs were able to fight back, a block assist from Alaleh Tolliver and Carly Slusser tied the set up at 23. The teams would then trade points, until the Friars scored two straight to win the set 27-25.

Set 3 Butler (25-23)
The third set belonged to the Dawgs. Butler was able to erase an early Providence lead thanks to kills from Jones and Ward. With the Dawgs in front, kills from Tolliver and Ward put Butler on the brink of winning the set, 23-17. The Friars were able to make a comeback but it was not enough. A block assist from Maria Nix and Rees won the set for Butler.

Set 4 Providence (25-22)
Set four saw Butler mount an early 11-6 lead. Kills from Ward, Tolliver, and a service ace from Lauren Evans helped the Dawgs build that advantage. With Butler still ahead by five, Providence made a run late in the set to take the lead 22-21. The Friars never gave the lead back and closed out the match.
