The three game series between Butler and Norfolk State has been adjusted due to inclement weather in Virginia. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday at Carolina Athletic Park on Field 1. Game one will start at 12:30 p.m. and game two at approximately 3:45 p.m. Due to the teams moving off campus, there will be no video stream or live stats for the series.

Scouting Norfolk State
The Spartans lost three games to Mount St. Mary's last weekend. They played two at Marty L. Miller Field on Friday and were unable to score in either contest. Saturday's single game ended with The Mount on top 10-5.

Terrence Rhodes and Jaydan Israel were the top hitters in the Norfolk State lineup. Rhodes hit .273 with a pair of doubles. Israel had three singles and an RBI. The only Spartan to end opening weekend with more than one RBI was Jalan Jones.

Starts on the mound went to Liam Royster, Nathaniel Varnier and Walker Fuller. Royster had the best ERA at 6.00, Varnier had four strikeouts and Fuller added two. Parker Hampton was used in long relief (4.2 IP) and Mac Yarbrough is your team leader in strikeouts with five.

Jack Moroknek Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Moroknek hit .375 over opening weekend, collecting six hits and a 1.062 slugging percentage. He registered two doubles, three home runs, three RBI, walked four times and scored six runs.
