Scouting Lindenwood
The Lions are 6-6 on the year after taking two of three from Illinois State in their first home series of the season. They topped the Redbirds 8-5 on Friday and won the series with a 4-2 victory on Sunday. Head Coach PJ Finigan is in his second year at the helm of the program. His 2025 team is batting .300 and is led at the dish by junior Sam Grunberg. Over 12 starts, Grunberg is batting .390 with six doubles and a homer. He shares the team RBI lead with Filip Sarota (12). Sarota is a senior that leads the club with four home runs.

Projected starters on the mound include Eli Brown, Josh Newell and Ethan Smith. Brown has a team-high 24 strikeouts over 18 innings of action. He's 1-2 on the hill with a 5.00 ERA. Smith has the lowest ERA of any starter at 2.45, yet Newell has the best record of any arm at 2-1. Late innings could go to Easton Rakers. The right-hander has eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings and was credited with the team's only save in the win over Illinois State.

The Bulldogs are 4-6 overall after going 1-2 at Ohio over the weekend.
Marcus Goodpaster was responsible for the win on the mound and now sits at 2-0 on the year. BU hits .335 as a team and have six student-athletes batting over .300.

Jack Moroknek had at least one hit in every game last week to hit .500 for the Bulldogs. His eight hits resulted in two doubles, a home run, four RBI and seven runs scored.

Rain Postponed Miami Ohio Matchup for Butler
The Butler baseball team did not travel to Oxford on Wednesday due to inclement weather. The contest at Miami Ohio has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a date later this season.
