The Butler softball team remains on the road, taking on Miami (Ohio) in a non-conference contest on Wednesday. The Bulldogs (21-14, 10-5 BIG EAST) most recently went 1-2 at UConn, while the Redhawks (23-16, 13-1 MAC) were 2-1 vs. Central Michigan.

• Cate Lehner leads the BIG EAST (11th nationally) with 26 stolen bases. She is third in the conference (52nd) with 50 hits and is also third (81st) for toughest to strike out.
• Rylyn Dyer is second in the BIG EAST (25th nationally) with 3 saves.
• Ella White is third in the BIG EAST (36th nationally) with 0.77 walks per game.
• Leigh Vande Hei is fourth in the BIG EAST with a .403 batting average.
• Gwen Baker is fourth in the BIG EAST (84th nationally) with 10 wins.
• Makena Alexander is fifth in the BIG EAST with 8 home runs.

• Gwen Baker's complete-game victory was her fourth this season. She picked up her tenth overall win.
• Sydney Carter's home run was her second of the season, but it was the first over-the-wall shot of her career. She had an inside-the-park home run vs. Detroit Mercy earlier this season.
   
• Butler's 2025 schedule includes five teams that qualified for the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs have already seen UAlbany (W, 8-2 & W, 3-1), Indiana (L, 13-0), and Dayton (L, 8-0), and are still scheduled for Miami (OH) (4/9) and Villanova (Apr. 17-19).
