Ryan Drumm and
Marcus Goodpaster earned a spot on the 2025 Academic All-District baseball team this week. The College Sports Communicators select the players by recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

David Ayers started in centerfield for the Bulldogs in 2025 and ended the season ranked seventh in the BIG EAST with three triples. A .235 hitter, Ayers collected 36 hits during his sophomore campaign which included six doubles and six home runs to go along with his team-high three triples. He recorded 66 total bases, 21 RBIs, and scored 29 runs. In the classroom, Ayers is a health sciences major with a 3.779 GPA.

Ryan Drumm lined up in leftfield for the Bulldogs in 2025. He posted the fifth-best batting average on the team (.303) while delivering 14 doubles, two triples and six home runs. Drumm ended the year with 93 total bases, 38 RBIs and scored 46 runs. One of three Bulldogs to appear in every game, Drumm recorded 57 hits as a sophomore and was the team leader in steals with seven. In the classroom, Drumm held a 3.644 GPA in accounting and marketing.

Marcus Goodpaster was the weekend ace for the Bulldogs in 2025. A transfer from Hanover, Goodpaster led BU in innings pitched (75.1), strikeouts (41), and wins (3). He had a 7.41 ERA and a 1.75 WHIP. While on campus, Goodpaster posted a 3.534 GPA working towards his master's degree in business administration.
