The Bulldogs started their season in style, taking the team title at the 2025 Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate hosted by Oakland University.

Butler started Sunday's final round with a seven-shot advantage and extended that behind a two-over 286. That was the best round of the day and followed Saturday totals of 287 and 284. The Bulldogs' total of 857 (+5) was 11 shots better than runner-up Toledo (868). Cleveland State finished third at 880. There were 12 teams in the field.

All five Bulldogs in the line-up finished among the Top 20 in the field.
Leo Zurovac led the way, tying for third at one-under 212. After a pair of even-par 71s Saturday, Zurovac shot a final-round 70 Sunday.

Will Horne shot a four-under 67 Sunday, which was the best round of the day among the 72-player field by two strokes. Horne's round included six birdies on the 7,204-yard Katke Course in Rochester, Mich. His Sunday performance moved him into a tie for eighth at 215 (+2). He opened the round tied for 29
th.

Marius Reiersen tied for 14
th in his Butler debut at 218 (+5).
Logan Sutton and
Derek Tabor were part of a tie for 19
th at 219 (+6).

Green Bay's Mason Haupt and Notre Dame's Mike Qiu tied for medalist honors at four-under 209.
