The Butler track and field team concluded action in the Hoosier Horsepower Classic in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon.
The team of
Carys Glyn-Jones,
Cameron Kirtley,
Ella Olthof, and
Camille El Baghouli led the way earning first place in the women's distance medley, running a time of 12:14.68. The women's 4x400-meter relay quartet of
Grace Stedge,
Jocelyn Davis,
Anna Neibrugge, and
Jenna Plank recorded a time of 3:55.78, earning second place.
On the men's side,
Seth Mahony completed a first place finish in the men's mile with a time of 4:05.57. The men's 4x400-meter relay consisting of
Troy Larrison,
Joe Pierro,
Edward Mumford, and
Mason Steinbraker, also recorded a first-place finish with a time of 3:20.20.
Other Top Bulldog Performers Included:
- Joe Pierro earned second place in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 21.57.
- Sean Davies took second place in the men's long jump with a length of 5.86 meters.
- Matteo Rosio continued his stellar season with a third place finish in the men's 3000-meter recording a time of 8:13.27.
