Hamlin Sets Facility Record at Crossroads of America Invitational

The Butler track and field team concluded action in the Crossroads of America Invitational in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Jesse Hamlin completed a first-place finish in the men's mile with a time of 3:56.72. This time sets a facility record at Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. Following behind Hamlin, David Slapak recorded a time of 4:02.98 to finish third.

The men's 4x400-meter relay consisting of Troy LarrisonJoe PierroEdward Mumford, and Mason Steinbraker, also recorded a fifth-place finish with a time of 3:217.64.

On the women's side, Carys Glyn-Jones recorded a time of 1:37.64 in the women's 600-meter race to finish fourth. The women's 4x400-meter relay quartet of Grace StedgeJocelyn DavisAnna Neibrugge, and Jenna Plank recorded a time of 3:50.20, earning fourth place. 
 
 
Other Top Bulldog Performers Included:
  • Ryan Elston took second place in the men's 600-meter race with a time of 1:19.98.
  • Kyle Grove took third place in the men's 3000-meter race with a time of 8:15.28. 
  • Kylie Cline finished fifth in the women's 3000-meter race with a time of 10:13.12.
