The Butler track and field team concluded action in the Crossroads of America Invitational in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon.
Jesse Hamlin completed a first-place finish in the men's mile with a time of 3:56.72. This time sets a facility record at Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. Following behind Hamlin,
David Slapak recorded a time of 4:02.98 to finish third.
The men's 4x400-meter relay consisting of
Troy Larrison,
Joe Pierro,
Edward Mumford, and
Mason Steinbraker, also recorded a fifth-place finish with a time of 3:217.64.
On the women's side,
Carys Glyn-Jones recorded a time of 1:37.64 in the women's 600-meter race to finish fourth. The women's 4x400-meter relay quartet of
Grace Stedge,
Jocelyn Davis,
Anna Neibrugge, and
Jenna Plank recorded a time of 3:50.20, earning fourth place.
Other Top Bulldog Performers Included:
- Ryan Elston took second place in the men's 600-meter race with a time of 1:19.98.
- Kyle Grove took third place in the men's 3000-meter race with a time of 8:15.28.
- Kylie Cline finished fifth in the women's 3000-meter race with a time of 10:13.12.
