Butler forward Finn Moran has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week as well as BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after his performance last Friday versus Villanova.

Moran scored both goals in Butler's 2-1 victory over Villanova, accounting for all of the Bulldogs' offense in the BIG EAST win. The freshman opened the scoring before delivering the game-winning goal, finishing with four points on three shots, including two on goal. The brace marked the first two collegiate goals of his career and his first game-winner. Moran was the only BIG EAST player to score multiple goals during the week.

Butler is on the road this week, traveling to No. 5 Creighton for a BIG EAST contest on Saturday.
