• This will be the fourth consecutive season that Butler and Boise State have played. The first two match-ups came on neutral courts -- at the 2023 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando and at The Crown in Las Vegas in 2025. Sunday's tip concludes a home-and-home series that saw the teams play in Indianapolis last season.

• Butler's Anderson and Boise State's Damari Wheeler-Thomas were teammates at North Dakota State the last two seasons.
• Butler is 3-1 in its last four true road games played in the Mountain and Pacific time zones (a 2022 win at Cal, a 2016 win at Utah, a 2011 win at Stanford, and a 2011 loss at Gonzaga).
• Including those four true road games and all events on neutral courts dating back to the 2007 Great Alaska Shootout, Butler is 24-8 in games played beginning in the Mountain time zone and moving west.
• Including Butler's 1-2 mark against Boise State, the Bulldogs are 6-6 all-time against current members of the Pac-12 Conference. Only the three match-ups against Boise State, three against Gonzaga (2-1) and two against Washington State (2-0) have come since 1964.
