INDIANAPOLIS – Following up on a strong effort on the opening day of the Lake Jovita Invitational, the Bulldogs were able to climb the leaderboard even more over the final 18 holes. Butler would end the tournament in second place, trailing only BIG EAST foe Xavier.
The Bulldogs posted their best team score in the final day, with the team posting a 277 (-11), with the three-round collective score now 849 (-11) as they finished the tournament in second place. Butler finished three shots behind Xavier in the field.
Within the final round, the Bulldogs collected a total of 20 birdies and two eagles as a team, with
Leo Zurovac collecting six on his own. Zurovac ended the final day with a 68(-4), matching with fellow Bulldog
Logan Sutto. Sutto ended the tournament with a score of 211 (-5) and in 11th place individually.
Ethan Blomme, representing the Bulldogs as an individual, posted a round of three-under 69 and tied for 24th individually alongside Zurovac. Both players ended the tournament 215 (-1).
