INDIANAPOLIS — The Bulldogs stand in fifth as a team following the second round at the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Butler has a team score of 578 (+2) through 36 holes after posting a round of three-under 285 on Monday.
Derek Tabor continues to lead the team with a 36-hole total of 142 (-2) and sits in a tie for fourth individually. He is two strokes behind individual leader Mattis Lefevre of Stetson, who shot a 68 (-4) in the second round.
Logan Sutto is tied for seventh after carding a 69 (-3) in round two and holds a 36-hole score of 143 (-1). Leo Zurovac posted a 68 (-4) with six birdies in Monday's second round.
Lefevre has Stetson at the top of the team leaderboard as well as their total of seven-under 569 is four strokes clear of Southern Miss entering the second round. Butler is nine shots back at 578 and holds a four-shot cushion over sixth-place George Mason. There are 15 teams in the field.
