Butler men's soccer head coach Ian Sarachan has added Alexis Diaz to the program's staff as an assistant coach. Diaz's primary responsibility will be training the program's goalkeepers.
Â
Diaz arrives in Indianapolis from Dartmouth, where he trained goalkeepers as an assistant coach during the 2025 season.
Â
"I am thrilled to welcome Alexis to Butler and our staff," stated Sarachan. "His ability to develop and train goalkeepers at a high level is going to be a huge asset to our program. Having worked within the college game, his scouting and recruitment of goalkeepers will also be crucial to our success moving forward."
Â
In addition to Dartmouth, Diaz has worked with USL Academy and USL 2 goalkeepers at RKC Third Coast FC USL 2 in Racine, Wis. He also was a goalkeeper coach at Bavarians United SC and is a founder and goalkeeper coach at Chicago Ghost FC.
Â
Diaz graduated from Concordia-Wisconsin in 2025, where he was a part of the men's soccer program for four seasons.
