Indianapolis, Ind.- The Butler women's lacrosse team fell to No. 20 Denver 14-2 on Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis.
Denver would score four goals in the first quarter and hold the Dawgs scoreless, to take the 4-0 lead into the second quarter.
Denver would extend their lead with a high offensive quarter totalling seven goals and continue to hold the Bulldogs scoreless into the half. Denver would lead 11-0 after two.
Butler would get on the board in the third quarter with a goal from
Kerrin McGovern. Denver would add two to make the game 13-1 after three.
Riley Ryan would give the Bulldogs their second goal of the day and Denver would score one to make the final 14-2.
