INDIANAPOLIS - The Butler men's golf team opened at the Surf Club Invitational, finishing third after one full round of play. The second round was not completed due to darkness, but it will be concluded tomorrow morning.

The Bulldogs finished today's first round with a combined score of 278 (-6), with two players performing under par and one playing even. Out of 18 teams, Georgia State currently leads the tournament with a combined score of 275 (-9). 

Leo Zurovac is in sixth place and is the current leader for the Bulldogs squad, shooting 67 (-4) for the first round. During the first round, Will Horne posted two eagles and one during the second round. The second round will conclude tomorrow morning.  

Aidan O'Donovan of Rhode Island currently leads the tournament with a score of 67 (-4). 

The Bulldogs will continue play at the 6,604-yard Surf Golf & Beach Club course tomorrow at 9:30 a.m..
