INDIANAPOLIS — Butler posted a two-round total of 584 at Columbus Country Club at the Robert Kepler Invitational, hosted by Ohio State.
Leo Zurovac finished one-under on the day, highlighted by a front-nine 32 (-3) that included multiple birdies and an eagle on the par-4 fourth hole. He followed with a steady 36 (E) on the back nine to secure the team's low round of the day.
Derek Tabor posted an even-par 72 in round two, improving his round one performance of 73 (+1). Tabor recorded a 35 (E) on the front nine and matched it with a 37 (E) on the back, mixing birdies with key pars to stabilize his round.
Will Horne and Logan Sutto each finished round two at 75 (+3). Horne turned in a 36 (+1) on the front nine before shooting 39 (+2) on the back, while Sutto mirrored that split with a 36 (+1) — 39 (+2) scorecard, both showing consistency despite a few late bogeys.
Jacob Tarkany rounded out the lineup with a 79 (+7), posting a 39 (+2) on the front nine and a 40 (+3) on the back.
In round one, Butler was paced by Tabor's 73 (+1), while Horne and Zurovac each carded 74 (+2) and 75 (+3), respectively. The Bulldogs showed improvement across the board in round two, highlighted by Zurovac's under-par performance.
