Indianapolis, Ind.- The Hoyas offense capitalized on Butler Saturday afternoon with 41 shot attempts to take the 18-6 win over the Dawgs. With the loss, Butler moves to 3-11 on the season and 0-4 in BIG EAST play while Georgetown improves to 10-4 overall and 4-0 in conference action. 
 
How it happened: 

• Georgetown got on the board first with two goals, but a free position goal by Riley Ryan gave the Dawgs their first goal of the day. 
• Georgetown outscored Butler 7-2 in the second with the two Bulldog goals coming from Kerrin McGovern. 
• Georgetown would score three goals in the third, and Butler would also score three from Emma Palmer, Grace Churchwell, and Elise Latham. 
• Butler was held scoreless in the fourth, while Georgetown recorded six goals to seal the win. 

 
Notable Stats:

• Patricia Lynn and McGovern recorded three draw controls each. 
• Ginger Fishberg led the team with two ground balls and a caused turnover. 
• Samantha Wilson recorded a career-high with 16 saves.
