The Butler softball team travels to Georgetown this weekend for a three-game BIG EAST series. The Bulldogs (17-16, 9-6 BIG EAST) currently sit in fourth in the conference standings, while the Hoyas (14-17, 7-8 BIG EAST) are just behind in fifth. Both teams are behind but battling Providence, Creighton, and UConn for the conference lead and the four spots available in the postseason BIG EAST Tournament. Also still in the hunt are St. John's in sixth, Seton Hall and Villanova, tied for seventh, and DePaul in ninth.
