Treyson Anderson - NDSU 2026

Butler Signs 6-9 Forward Treyson Anderson from North Dakota State

| By:
Treyson Anderson, who averaged 10.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for North Dakota State as a sophomore, has signed with Butler. Anderson, who played the last two seasons at NDSU, has two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2026-27 campaign.

Anderson, a 6-9 forward, played in all 35 games for the Bison, starting 19, as NDSU won 27 games, captured both the Summit League regular season and tournament titles, and earned a berth in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

"Treyson is a great addition to our team and our locker room," said Butler head coach Ronald Nored. "He impacted winning at NDSU last season and has good versatility to his game both offensively and defensively.  Treyson can score in the paint and knock down shots. He can defend multiple positions and protect the rim. We think he's just scratching the surface of his potential, and we're excited to get him on campus soon."

Anderson finished third in the Summit League in blocked shots during the 2025-26 season. He made 36 percent of his three-point attempts during the campaign. Anderson had four 20-point games, including three consecutive in January during conference play. He scored in double figures in 20 games and registered two double-doubles and a total of three games with double-digit rebounds.

As a freshman at North Dakota State, Anderson played in 14 games, averaging 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.

The native of Lincoln, Neb., Anderson earned Class A All-State as a senior in 2023-24. He averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior at Pius X High School and was selected for the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Game.
