Dan Wenger Earns Master Strength and Conditioning Coach Title

Butler strength and conditioning coach Dan Wenger will be presented with the title Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) at the 2026 Annual National Conference of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa).

Currently, there are only 380 individuals nationally who have received this level of certification and the corresponding title of distinction. This is the highest honor that can be achieved in the Strength and Conditioning coaching profession. It represents professionalism, knowledge, experience, expertise, and longevity.
​
To earn the distinction of Master Strength and Conditioning Coach, individuals must be currently practicing as a full-time strength & conditioning coach of a collegiate or professional team. Individuals need to hold the CSCCa's certification, SCCC (Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified), which is NCAA accredited. They must also be a full-time strength and conditioning coach of a collegiate, and/or professional athletic team for a minimum of 12 years.

Coach Wenger has met each of these requirements. In addition, Coach Wenger is a leader in his field and has dedicated his life and career to the field of collegiate strength & conditioning.
entitling him to receive the prestigious honor of being recognized as a Master Strength and
Conditioning Coach.

Coach Wenger will be honored at the 2026 Annual National Conference of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 4-6.
