Leo Zurovac and Georgetown's Carson Erick earned BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week accolades, each earning first place in their respective competitions. The conference office made the announcement Thursday, April 9.
Sutto and Zurovac tied for medalist honors at the 2026 Jewell Invitational, hosted by Northern Kentucky. The Butler duo each finished at even-par, with a 213 total score for the 54-hole event. It marks Sutto's first win of the 2025-26 campaign, while Zurovac's recorded his second consecutive victory for the Bulldogs. Erick led the Hoyas at the Wildcat Spring Invite, earning his first collegiate victory, firing a final round 69 to seal a one-shot victory.

Sutto records his second BIG EAST weekly honor after using a final round 66 to tie for medalist honors at the 2026 Jewell Invitational, along with teammate
Leo Zurovac. After an opening round 77, the sophomore played the final 36 holes at 6-under. His tournament-low 66 in the final round featured six birdies and he finished among the top scorers in the field on par 3 (3.08 avg, +1) and par 5 (4.67 avg, -3) holes.

Zurovac earned his second straight BIG EAST weekly award - and his third overall of the season - after tying for medalist honors at the 2026 Jewell Invitational. The senior tied with teammate
Logan Sutto at even-par (213) for the 54-hole tournament. Zurovac opened with a 4-under 67 and closed tournament play with a 1-under 70. He led the field in par 4 scoring (3.97 avg, -1). He has registered two wins and four top five finishes in 2025-26.
Carson Erick, Georgetown, Fr.
Erick earned his first collegiate victory at the Wildcat Spring Invite, hosted at Galloway National Golf Club in New Jersey. The freshman used a 2-under final round 69 to earn a one-stroke victory, at 3-over (73-74-69=216). Erick led the 72-player field in par 4 scoring (4.04 avg, +1) and was third-best in par 5 scoring (4.67 avg, -4) en route to the victory. It was his second top five finish of the 2025-26 season.
UP NEXT: The Bulldogs travel to Columbus, Ohio to play in the Robert Kepler Invitational, hosted by Ohio State. The two-day event begins Saturday.
