Women's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

| By:
Butler Women's Soccer has once again assembled a challenging slate for the upcoming 2026 season. The schedule features 11 home matches.

Butler will open the season with 10 consecutive non-conference matches, beginning with a pair of exhibition contests. Both preseason opponents – Eastern Michigan (Aug. 5) and UIC (Aug. 8) – will visit the Sellick Bowl.

The regular season opener will take place on Aug. 16, as the Bulldogs travel to Wright State. Additional non-conference away matches will see the Bulldogs travel to Miami (Ohio), St. Thomas, and IU Indy, which will host the Bulldogs in downtown Indianapolis on Sept. 10.

Ball State will visit the Sellick Bowl for the regular season home opener on Thursday, Aug. 20. That contest is part of a Butler Soccer Doubleheader that includes the Butler men hosting a 5 p.m. match against Northern Illinois before the Butler women host Ball State.

Butler will also host Northwestern (Aug. 30), Central Michigan (Sept. 13), and Western Illinois (Sept. 19 at Varsity Field) to complete the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The final 10 games of Butler's regular season are comprised of BIG EAST contests. Marquette will be in Indianapolis on Saturday, Sept. 26, to begin conference competition. Additional home matches include visits to the Sellick Bowl by St. John's (Oct. 7), Georgetown (Oct. 17), Villanova (Oct. 24), and Xavier (Nov. 7).

The Bulldogs will travel to Seton Hall on September 30 for the first BIG EAST contest on the road. Additional away matches are DePaul, Creighton, UConn, and Providence.

The 2026 BIG EAST Tournament begins a few days after the Nov. 7 regular season finale versus Xavier, as the top four teams in the league standings will be in search of the BIG EAST's automatic entry into the NCAA Tournament. The tournament, which will be played in Boyds, Md., is scheduled for Nov. 11 and 14.

Under the guidance of Co-Head Coaches Tari St. John and Rob Alman, the 2026 Dawgs will look to continue an incredible run of success and consistency as part of the highly competitive BIG EAST Conference. In seven of the previous nine seasons, Butler has finished in one of the top three spots in the conference standings, a stretch that includes two runner-up finishes along with a Midwest Division crown in 2020. Over that same time span, the Dawgs have produced a stellar .643 winning percentage in BIG EAST play, compiling a conference record of 42-18-24.

The entire Butler home women's soccer schedule is included in the 2026 Butler Fall Sports Pass which is available for purchase and also includes Butler's home men's soccer and volleyball schedules. For more ticket information, please contact our ticketing office at tickets@butler.edu.
