Bulldogs in Ninth with Monday 18 Remaining at 2026 BIG EAST Championship

Saturday rain doubled the amount of Sunday action at the 2026 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship presented by JEEP as all 11 teams played 36 holes.
 
The 54-hole event concludes Monday at the Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club in Hardeeville, S.C.  
 
The Bulldogs are in ninth place entering Monday's final 18 holes. Butler shot Sunday rounds of 291 and 294 to finish the day at nine-over 585.
 
Leo Zurovac paces the Bulldogs at even-par 144 through Sunday's two rounds. He is tied for 18th. Zurovac fired a morning round of 71 that included five birdies before posting a one-over 73 later in the day. Logan Sutto and Ethan Blomme are both tied for 23rd at two-over 146. Sutto's opening-round 70 (-2) was the best Sunday round by a Bulldog. Blomme's one-under 71 in the afternoon 18 Sunday featured five birdies on the 7,026-yard course.
 
Defending champion Marquette holds the lead entering Monday's final round. The Golden Eagles (565; -11) carry a two-shot advantage over DePaul (567) and a three-shot edge over Xavier (568).
 
Xavier's Cayse Morgan and Villanova's Ryan Pamer share the individual lead after Sunday's 36 holes. The duo stands at six-under 138, one shot ahead of a pair of UConn Huskies in Bradley Sawka and Matthew Costello.
 
Monday's groupings are determined by Sunday's leaderboard. Third round action is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m. ET on hole one and 8:50 a.m. on hole 10 Monday morning. The first Bulldog will tee off No. 10 at 9:35 a.m.

The conference's team champion will receive the league's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Championship. The individual medalist also earns an NCAA Championship invitation.
