Butler midfielder Chloe Brecht and goalkeeper Addison Ash represented the Bulldogs with two of the conference's four major weekly awards after their performances versus Ball State and Miami (Ohio). Brecht was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, and Ash was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week. This is the first BIG EAST weekly honor for each student-athlete's respective career.
 
Brecht finished a 1-0-1 week against Ball State and Miami with two goals. Brecht scored Butler's lone goal in the 1-1 draw with the Cardinals and then had the game-winner in the 1-0 win at Miami.
 
Ash made two saves in Butler's 1-1 draw with Ball State, followed by a 12-save performance in the 1-0 shutout at Miami. She ended the week with a 0.50 goals-against average, 14 saves and a .933 save percentage.
 
Butler will host Northwestern in its next match. The Sunday kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
