Butler Softball is scheduled to play a fall campaign of eight games on four dates in preparation for the 2027 season. All eight games will be in the Indianapolis area, with four taking place on Butler's campus.
 
Coach Scott Hall enters his 17^th season as Butler head coach. Hall's 2027 team will look to build on a 2026 season in which the Bulldogs qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament for a sixth-consecutive season. All-BIG EAST First Team selection Makena Alexander is joined by 12 returning veterans for the 2027 campaign. In addition, nine freshmen will be vying for positions on the field and in the batter's box.

Butler's spring schedule will be released at a later date.
