The Butler University football team welcomed the newest member of the program on Friday afternoon as 10-year-old Grayson Tucker officially became a Bulldog. Tucker, the Plainfield, Ind. native joined the football program through Team IMPACT.
 
At a press conference at Hinkle Fieldhouse in front of his family, new teammates and coaches, Grayson officially signed his national letter of intent (NLI) becoming a Butler Bulldog. Grayson will attend Butler practices, games and other team events. 
 
"We are so excited to add Grayson Tucker to our program," said Head Coach Kevin Lynch. "Grayson displays many of the qualities we look for in our players including grit, resilience and perseverance. He has overcome a tremendous amount in his life and we know he will make an incredible impact on our team and the Butler community."
