The Butler women's soccer team will host Western Illinois as part of a full weekend of homecoming activities this weekend. The Saturday match, which will include Alumni Weekend activities, will take place at Varsity Field. Admission for the contest is free, and it can be viewed at no cost on the HomeTeam Network.
The Bulldogs are coming off two shutout victories last week – over IU Indy and Central Michigan – and have now won three matches in a row. The visiting Leathernecks most recently lost to Illinois State. Their only win this season came against Northern Iowa.

- Addison Ash leads the BIG EAST and is 61st nationally with 4.86 saves per match. She ranks third in the conference and 26th nationally with a .872 save percentage and is also third (44th) with three shutouts.
- Chloe Brecht is fourth in the BIG EAST and 73rd nationally with a .588 shooting accuracy. She also ranks fourth in the conference with four goals and with 10 points.
- Riley Gumm leads the BIG EAST and ranks 33rd nationally with two game-winning goals.Â

- Brecht was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week (9/14). She had two goals and an assist for her first collegiate brace in the 4-0 win at IU Indy. She led Butler with five points and tied with three shots on goal in the team's 2-0 week.
- Ash was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week (9/14). She added a pair of shutouts to her resumé with five saves across two wins for Butler. In the 4-0 win at IU Indy, she had three saves, followed by two saves in the 3-0 triumph against Central Michigan.
- Kensey Teffner was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (9/14). She helped a Butler defense to two shutouts, limiting IU Indy and CMU to a combined five shots on frame. The freshman recorded her first career assist on the first goal in the 4-0 win over IU Indy.
- Lola Pepper was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (9/14). She had a three-point performance in the team's 3-0 win versus CMU, with an assist and an unassisted goal.
- Alyssa Carlson notched a goal against both IU Indy and CMU.
- Gumm tallied three points last week, scoring a goal at IU Indy and adding an assist versus CMU.
- Sarah Beth Sizemore dished out an assist at IU Indy that was a career first and represented her first career point.
- Sarah Monnin's goal versus CMU was the first of her collegiate career.
