Butler is set to host the Indy Invitational, which is slated to start on Thursday at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs will host Youngstown State for their home opener, followed by two more matches on Friday and Saturday.

- Butler recently competed in Clemson's Big Orange Bash this past weekend, where the Bulldogs were 2-1, knocking off Clemson for their first ACC win since 2014 (Virginia Tech).

- Jersey Loyer, who earned All-Tournament Recognition, totalled 56 digs, 23 against Charleston Southern, a season high and nearly a career high (28).
- Sawyer Jones, who also earned All-Tournament Recognition, totalled 32 kills; 14 came against Clemson. She also recorded 19 blocks over the weekend.
- Elise Ward tallied 40 digs, including 21 against Western Carolina. She also recorded 22 kills over the past three contests.
- Raegan Durbin led the squad with 36 kills, 16 of which came against Western Carolina. She also recorded 32 digs over the weekend.
- Carly Slusser recorded 22 blocks, including ten against Clemson. She also tallied 18 kills at the event.
- Maria Nix recorded 28 kills; 13 came against Charleston Southern over the weekend.
- Chase Lemming recorded 21 kills; 14 came on Sunday and three blocks.
Scouting Youngstown State
The Bulldogs will face the Youngstown State Penguins as their home opener in 2026. The Penguins are 2-1 overall this season and finished 17-14 last season in 2025. Junior Kylie Surratt leads the team with 40 kills, and sophomore Kameron Blizniak leads the team with 61 assists this season.
Scouting Akron
The Akron Zips will face Butler in the second home game of the season. The Zips are 1-2 on the season and finished 16-13 in the 2025 season. Senior Chidera Ozoh leads the Zips this season with 32 kills, and sophomore Clara Christensen leads the team with 68 assists.
Scouting Ohio
The Bulldogs will take on the Ohio Bobcats for the third home game of the season. The Bobcats are 3-0 this season and finished 14-17 in the 2025 season. Sophomore Bailey Blair leads the Bobcats this season with 38 kills, and freshman Rowan Kelly leads the team with 110 assists.

The Bulldogs will travel to Evanston, Illinois to face Northwestern Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m./6 p.m. CT. After that, the Bulldogs will return home to play Bellarmine on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
