Butler will begin BIG EAST competition this weekend, facing Villanova on Friday, followed by Georgetown on Saturday.

• The Bulldogs are 6-6 overall this season.
• Chase Lemming named BIG EAST player of the week. Lemming posted a career-high 28 kills against Duke.  
• Against Duke, the Bulldogs recorded a hitting percentage above .700 in the third set.

• Jersey Loyer leads the Bulldog defense with 194 digs on the season. Loyer ranks fifth in the BIG EAST in digs.
• Sarah Kempf leads the Bulldogs in assists with 173 on the season.
• Raegan Durbin leads the Bulldogs with 87 kills to her credit. 
• Chase Lemming ranks second in kills for the Bulldogs with 85 to her credit. Lemming ranks tenth in kills in the BIG EAST. 
• Carly Slusser leads the Bulldogs in blocks this season with 53. Slusser ranks third in the BIG EAST amongst block leaders and fifth in hitting percentage at .376.
• Zoe McDonald ranks second for the Bulldogs in blocks with 40 to her credit. McDonald ranks sixth in the BIG EAST amongst block leaders.  

 
Scouting Villanova Wildcats 
The Wildcats finished 20-8 overall in 2025, including an 11-5 record in the BIG EAST. Currently, the Wildcats are 7-4 overall. Campbell McKinnon leads the Wildcats in kills with 128. Alyssa Nelson leads the Wildcats in assists with 290. Cat Young leads the Wildcats in digs with 95. 
 
Scouting Georgetown Hoyas 
The Hoyas finished 14-15 overall in 2025, including a 7-9 record in the BIG EAST. Currently, the Hoyas are 8-3 overall. Kamry Lee Caracii leads the Hoyas in kills with 116 to her credit. Juleigh Urbina leads the Hoyas in assists with 321. Bella McGirr leads the Hoyas in digs with 96.
