The Butler men's soccer team will host Lindenwood on Friday before hitting the road to face Western Michigan on Monday. The Bulldogs (0-3-1) are coming off a 5-1 loss to Memphis, while the Lions (2-1-1) most recently tied Wright State. The Broncos lost to Bryant on Wednesday evening.

Friday's match hosting Lindenwood had a time adjustment due to forecast heat. Kickoff in the Sellick Bowl is now set for 7 p.m.

• Brooks Boersma was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week (8/31) after making 13 saves at No. 14 Indiana. This placed him tied for fourth on Butler's all-time list for saves in a single match.
• Max Klein scored the first goal of his career vs. Memphis. In addition, Finn Moran notched his first career assist.
• Brendan Cunningham has generated the most shots (12) for the Butler offense. He, Anden Ellis and Oscar Dawber each have a pair of shots on goal.
   
• Six newcomers – Braden Benyr, Chace Crismale, Haato Efune, Anden Ellis, Jaden Hancock, Finn Moran – have started at least one of the Bulldogs' first four matches this season.
• Boersma, along with Kiel Higginson, and Max Klein have each played all 360 minutes of game action this season.
