Butler University Athletics

Originally signed with Butler prior to the 2020-21 academic year, but delayed his enrollment until fall 2021 semester.  

2024 - Senior Season: Appeared in 14 matches with starts vs. USI and Bowling Green...scored Butler's only goal at Creighton (10/26)...dished out an assist vs. Evansville (9/10)...produced four total shots on the season with two on frame.

2023 - Junior Season: Appeared in 13 matches for Butler...registered a shot at Western Michigan (9/4).

2022 - Sophomore Season: Appeared in 11 matches for the Bulldogs...registered 4 shots, with 3 on goal...scored 2 goals, including the first of his career, vs. Lindenwood, Sep. 21.

2021 - Freshman Season: Appeared in 13 matches, starting seven...produced nine shots, four on goal.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Okoko attended St. George's School in Edgbaston, England. He played for the English Football League Club Birmingham City Academy from U12 through U18. He scored more than 50 goals in 100 games as a youth academy player. Okoro was invited to train with the England National U15 & 16 Teams.

Coach Snape on Okoro: "Nick is highly talented attacking player who possesses an abundance of skill, technique, speed, and tactical knowledge. He has learned his craft at one of the most prestigious soccer academies in England, and this experience should help him transition to the level of Division I college soccer quicker than most incoming freshmen.
