Biography

Following the 2015-16 season, Davis decided to transfer to Eastern Kentucky University, near his hometown of Lexington, Ky. He will have two seasons of eligibility for the Colonels, beginning with the 2017-18 season.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16):
Saw action in 25 games...averaged 5.7 minutes per game...finished the season at 2.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game...shot 56 percent from the field and made 12 of his 17 free throws...posted career-highs of 19 points and eight rebounds in the season-opening win over The Citadel 11/14/15...had nine points against Missouri State at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off 11/19/15...posted six points and five rebounds against IUPUI 12/28/15...had five points and eight rebounds at St. John's 2/6/16. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15): Played in 17 games, averaging 3.9 minutes per game...scored 15 points and had 23 rebounds on the season...tied his season-high with four rebounds in three separate gamse...scored first collegiate points with a pair of free throws against Maine 11/15/14...had two points and grabbed four rebounds against Loyola (Md.) 11/22/14...came off the bench with four points and two rebounds in Butler’s home win over Seton Hall 1/25/15...grabbed four rebounds in nine minutes at Xavier 2/21/15.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: First team all-state forward at Lafayette High School in Lexington, Kentucky...one of seven finalists for Kentucky's "Mr. Basketball" honor...named to the Kentucky All-Star Team for the annual summer Indiana-Kentucky All-Star series...averaged 24.6 points, 13.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots as a senior, ranking in the top 10 in the state in both scoring and rebounding...posted 32 points and 31 rebounds in a game against Lexington Catholic...had 42 points and 17 rebounds in a game against Henry Clay...averaged 20.1 points and was named second team All-State as a junior...chosen to the Kentucky Junior All-Star Team following the 2012-13 season...finished his career as Lafayette's all-time leader in points (2,343), rebounds (1,372) and blocked shots (321)...ranked 12th all-time in Kentucky rebounding...named M.V.P. of high school's track squad...advanced to the state meet in the high jump...son of former Kentucky basketball letterwinner Johnathon Davis...High School Coach:  Mike Mendenhall.
