2017: Saw action in all 11 games... Named Second Team All-PFL.. Named Second Team Academic All-PFL.. Named Team Defensive MVP... Led the Bulldogs with 96 tackles... Seventy of those stops were solo tackles... Average of 6.4 solo tackles per game led the PFL and is eighth in the FCS... Received the One Play Warrior award for having the most special team points.. Received the Bulldog Pride award for being the best representation of the program.

2016: Saw action in all 11 games, including 10 starts... Named Honorable Mention All-PFL... Named Second Team Academic All-PFL... Finished the season with 43 total tackles... Had two tackles for a loss for five-yards... Tied for the team lead in interceptions (2-114-yds.)... Accounted for 218-yards on 20 punt returns... His 10.9-yard punt return average ranked third in the PFL... Had 105-yards on five kick returns... Had two pass break-ups. 

2015: Named to the 2015 Academic All-PFL Second Team... 2015 All-PFL Honorable Mention...played in all 11 games... led the team and third in the PFL with six interceptions including one for a touchdown... third on the team with 49 tackles including one tackle for loss... forced and recovered one fumble... tied for thirteenth in the PFL with ten passes defended including four pass-breakups... named to PFL Academic Honor Roll

2014:  Played in all 11 games...credited with seven tackles and one pass break-up...had a career-high three tackles at Youngstown State.

Personal:  Engineering/Mathematics major...born 7/17/96...son of Peter and Shawn Newhouse...High School:  Three-year varsity starter at Grand Haven High School...honorable mention All-State defensive back as a junior...missed all but two games of senior season with injury...two-year team captain...first team All-Conference and All-Area as a junior...second team All-Area as a sophomore...led prep squad in tackles in 2011 (62) and 2012 (67)...had four career pass interceptions and 13 career touchdowns...returned three punts for touchdowns during prep career...two-year starter on high school’s basketball team...earned three varsity football letters...Scholar-Athlete and honor roll student...High School Coach:  Mike Farley.
