2024 — Senior Season: Appeared in 21 matches…competed in 67 sets…posted 223 kills…ranked ninth in the BIG EAST with 3.33 kills per set…recorded 79 digs…totaled 26 blocks…added eight service aces…hit for a season-high .324 with 17 kills vs. No. 21 Arizona State…reached 21 kills vs. Seton Hall.

2023 - Junior Season: Appeared in 24 matches…played in 80 sets…her averages of 3.43 kills per set and 3.89 points per set led the team and ranked sixth in the conference…amassed 274 total kills on…tallied 132 digs, 17 serving aces and 11 assists…made five solo blocks and 31 block assists…reached a season-high of 21 kills in a match twice vs. North Dakota St. (9/1) and Cincinnati (9/15)...collected a season-high 16 digs vs. Morehead State (9/9)...BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection (10/2)...Bulldog Brawl and Dayton Beavercreek Invitational All Tournament Team Selections.

2022 - Sophomore Season (at Georgia)

Played in 35 sets in 12 matches with two starts… lone match with double-digit kills came at Mississippi State (9/21) with 13 kills… registered 73 total kills for a 2.09 kills per set average… had a season-best three digs in four matches… laid down a pair of aces in three matches… member of 2022 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2021 - Freshman Season (at Georgia)
Made an appearance in 26 sets in 11 matches as a true freshman… finished the season with 69 kills, including three double-digit dig performances… recorded a season-best 14 kills against No. 22 Pepperdine (8/28)… added 12 kills against Florida Gulf Coast (9/10)… totaled a team-best 30 kills (2.73/set) the opening weekend of the season… came off the bench at Texas A&M (10/8) and recorded 10 kills and a season-best four blocks… member of SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll. 

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB   
A four-year varsity letterwinner at Avon High School… helped guide the Orioles to a 37-3 record and a state championship as a freshman… her sophomore season, Avon finished 33-4 and was the state runner-up as Maesch earned second team all-state honors… picked up first team all-state status as both a junior and senior… as a senior, earned honorable mention on the Under Armour All-America awards along with AVCA All-Region honors… in four seasons, helped Avon to 108 victories… played club for Circle City Volleyball Club.

COACH SHONDELL'S OUTLOOK: "We are fortunate Abby has made Butler her home. Her offensive presence and high-level experience have already been invaluable to our program."

PERSONAL 
Daughter of Amy and Ernie Maesch and has one sibling, Alexis… Her father, Ernie, played basketball at Indiana State.
