2025 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in five games this season… Weber State (9/20), Dayton (10/18), Drake (11/01), Morehead State (11/08), and San Diego (11/15).
2024 Season (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in three games… Saw playing time in the season opener vs. Upper Iowa… Took the field against Hanover and Virginia Lynchburg.
2023 Season (Redshirt): Did not appear in any games.
High School: Two-year starter for head coach John Hebert at Carmel High School... Was an All-Conference selection as a senior after catching 26 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns... Scored on a 76-yard reception that season and averaged 11.3 yards per catch... As a junior in 2021, Matthews caught 21 passes for 200 yards and scored three TDs.. Averaged 18.2 yards per catch.
