Butler University Athletics

Austin Taylor joined the Butler football coaching staff at the start of the 2021 season. Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Taylor spent two seasons coaching the defensive line unit at DePauw. 

Taylor was able to get collegiate coaching experience coming out of Ball State University. He earned his degree in 2016 while also working as a coach's assistant. After graduation, Taylor coached high school football at Pike, Hamilton Southeastern and Zionsville.
 
In 2018 Taylor was selected as the Region 7 Indiana Football Coaches Association Minority Representative.
