Ben Dessauer joined the Butler football coaching staff in July of 2023 and currently serves as the Director of Player Personnel. He was a recruiting analyst in his first season.Â

In addition to completing daily player evaluations, Dessauer maintains the transfer and recruiting boards. He also contributes to organizing official and unofficial visits and game day operations.

Before coming to Butler, Dessauer scored NFL and amateur football games as a video scout assistant for Sports Info Solutions. He also held internships with BLESTO Scouting, the Fan Controlled Football League and College Gridiron Showcase. His first coaching job was with Guerin Catholic High School as an assistant.
