Eddie Schott

Eddie Schott

Eddie Schott joined the Butler Football coaching staff in January of 2024 as the program's quarterback coach.

“I could not be more excited to have Eddie join the Butler coaching staff,” Uremovich stated. “He has been around the game his entire life and has been like a coach on the field for us the past two seasons.  He will do a great job mentoring the quarterbacks on and off the field."

Schott spent two seasons at Butler as the team’s backup quarterback. He’s an Indianapolis native that attended Southport High School. Schott began his collegiate career in Muncie with the Ball State Cardinals. He did not see game action with BSU but appeared in four games for Butler after transferring at the start of the 2022 season. He also played in four games for the ‘Dawgs in 2023.

Schott comes from a football family. His grandfather, Dick Schott, played college football at Louisville and went on to play in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings.
