Butler University Athletics

Lee Rose coaches Butler's defensive ends and serves as the program's Assistant Recruiting Coordinator. He joined Butler's coaching staff in 2013.

Rose was part of the Bulldogs' 2013 Pioneer Football League championship and appearance in the NCAA Division I Football Championship. 

In 2015, Rose served as the Defensive Line Coach for the USA Football National Developmental Games.

Rose arrived at Butler after serving on the coaching staff at Charlotte Christian High School in North Carolina. He had responsibility for running backs at Charlotte Christian, where he coached North Carolina recruit Desmond Lawrence and helped the Knights to the 2012 NCISSA State Championship.

He was a collegiate football player at both the University of Richmond and Indiana University, where he earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2011.

He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana in 2012.
