Butler University Athletics

Matt Alderfer joined the Butler football program as the tight ends coach in February of 2022. Alderfer played tight end at NC State from 2018-21. He begins his collegiate coaching career with the Bulldogs.
 
A Charlotte, North Carolina native, Alderfer assisted with the tight ends and offensive line during the 2021 season in which the Wolfpack defeated #9 Clemson and earned a bid to the Holiday Bowl.
 
Alderfer graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance and an economics minor.
