Butler University Athletics

Matt Walker, former head coach at DePauw University, is in hisfirst season on Butler’s staff.  He’ll be workingwith the Bulldogs’ tight ends.  Walker was the headcoach at DePauw from 2006-09, compiling a 22-8 overall record and a13-7 mark in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.  Healso served as an assistant football coach at DePauw for six yearsand was the Tigers’ head baseball coach for 10 seasons. A two-sport athlete in football and baseball as an undergraduate,Walker earned a degree from DePauw in 1999.  He holds amaster’s degree from Indiana State.
