Sean Wilson joined the Butler football program in March of 2022 as the program’s recruiting analyst. Wilson brings over a decade of coaching experience to the program. Before Butler, Wilson worked as the offensive coordinator at Mount Vernon High School. He was the tight end coach at Anderson University during the 2016 campaign and spent the 2015 football season working at Pike High School with the team’s wide receivers.
Additional coaching positions held during Wilson’s career includes stops at Earlham College, UIndy, Marian, and Arsenal Tech High School. He started coaching at Ball State as a student assistant. Before arriving at Arsenal Tech, Wilson spent multiple training camps with the Indianapolis Colts as an intern.
Wilson joined Arsenal Tech in June of 2004 and worked as the defensive coordinator for two years before joining the Marian Knights. He switched roles soon after and coached wide receivers at Marian, UIndy and Earlham.
Wilson is a member of the America Football Coaches Association and has a sport management degree from Ball State. He also earned his master’s degree from Concordia University in coaching and athletic administration.
