Tucker Marty joined the Butler football coaching staff at the start of the 2019 season. He is the assistant secondary coach and also help with special teams.
Marty was the special teams assistant coach at Hope College before arriving at BU. He coached a unit of six specialists helping the kickers, punters and long snappers. While at Hope, Marty helped create daily practice plans, and a kicking guide for the student-athletes.
Marty is an experienced kicker that earned three varsity letters in high school at Wyoming in Ohio. He set school records for most touchbacks in a single-season (34) and for most field goals made in one game.
His coaching debut at Hope College began in 2015 as a student assistant. He also works as a personal place-kicking trainer in Cincinnati.
