2022 PFL Academic Honor Roll

2023 Season (Junior): Started in the first nine games of the season… Led all Butler defensive linemen with 21 tackles (12 solo)… Ranked fourth on the team with five tackles for loss… Credited with three QB hurries and one pass break-up… Recorded a season-high five tackles (1 TFL) at St. Thomas (10/7)… Followed that game with four tackles vs. Davidson (10/14)… Had a tackle for loss in five-straight games from 9/16 to 10/14… Matched his season-high tackle total with five at Dayton (10/21).

2022 Season (Sophomore): All-PFL honorable mention selection… Phil Steele Fourth Team All-PFL honoree… Played in 10 games… Got the start vs. Marist (10/22)… Ended the season with 16 total tackles… Made 10 solo tackles while assisting on six stops… Led the team with 6.5 tackles for loss… Recorded a sack vs. Morehead State (10/29)… Credited with a QB hurry in back-to-back games at Valpo (10/15) and vs. Marist (10/22)… Broke-up a pass at Drake (11/12)… Had two tackles for loss at Drake (11/12)… Recorded at least one tackle for loss in three-straight games from 9/17-10/15… Had a season-high three tackles at South Dakota State (9/17)… Matched that effort at Davidson (10/1) and at Drake (11/12).

2021 Season (Freshman): Appeared in all 11 games… Ranked fifth on the team with 42 total tackles… Recorded 22 solo tackles and assisted on 20 others… Made 2.5 tackles for loss… Broke-up two passes… Recorded four tackles, including a tackle for loss and one sack in the season finale at Marist (Nov. 20)… Came up with a season-high seven tackles at St. Thomas (Sept. 25)… Made two stops in the season opener at Illinois State (Sept. 4)… Made five tackles including one for a loss at Taylor (Sept. 18).

2021 Spring Season (Redshirt): Appeared in all six games… Recorded 16 tackles; 10 solo, six assisted… Made two tackles for loss… Credited with a pass break-up, one quarterback hurry, and a force fumble… Made a season-highs seven tackles in the final home game vs. Drake (April 10)… Forced a fumble and made a tackle for loss in the game vs. the Bulldogs… First tackle for loss came on the road at San Diego (March 20)… Made three tackles at Morehead State while adding a QB hurry and a pass break-up (April 17).

High School: Three-year starter under the guidance of head coach Bill Ellinghaus… Helped his team win a conference championship in 2019… Led the team with 84 tackles as a senior… Notched 111 tackles as a junior… Two-time all-conference and all-area selection… Two-time team captain and team defensive MVP… Set the school record for most tackles in a single-season (111)… Academic All-Conference and Academic All-State both his junior and senior year… Also played baseball.
 
Personal: Son of Thomas and Bonnie Belskis… Has one sibling; Benjamin… Plans to major in business.
